WHO Fellowship Training Programs (WHO-FTPs)

The WHO Fellowship Programmes are significant means of WHO support for the development and strengthening of human resources for health capacity and contributing to the health system performance. IIHMR has designed and conducted WHO Fellowship Programmes for the South-East Asia region using best practices from WHO Regions and UN Agencies. These programmes serve as a tool to support member countries in scaling up the production of health personal to overcome the critical challenges in human resources for health. The WHO Fellowship Programmes are guided by monitoring fellowship trends, training needs identified by the countries to scale up workforce production, evaluation, and impact assessment results towards capacity building of a country in human resources for health development.
