Selection Procedure

The eligible candidates will be invited for group discussion and personal interview. The final selection of the candidate is based on his/her performance in the qualifying examination with proportional score in MAT/CMAT/CAT/ATMA/XAT/GMAT/IIHMR MAT or any other national level management aptitude test, group discussion and interview. Candidates are required to bring original documents at the time of the interview. The candidate will be assessed on following criteria:

  • Marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Score of management aptitude test/experience
  • Group discussion
  • Personal interview

Hostel Accommodation Fee

Separate hostel facility for boys and girls is available. Room rent is payable on yearly basis as per The IIHMR University, Jaipur norms.

  • Maximum stay period for the first year students will be 10 Months (June, 17 to March, 18) and for 2nd year Students will be 8 Months (June, 17 to Jan, 18). Any stay beyond this period will be charged separately form the student.
  • Hostel fee once deposited will not be refunded during the mid of the course unless the Hostel facility withdrawn by IIHMR University.
  • Refund is not permitted if the student is expelled from the hostel.
  • Above fee is only for the Room Charges and Mess fee is to be paid separately by the students at the canteen.
  • Hostel Rooms will be allotted on first come first served basis.

Fee Refund

In case, a student/candidate withdraws from the course, the fee will be refunded as per The University norms. If a candidate leaves after commencement of the course, he/she will not be entitled for fee refund except caution money.

Policy regarding above is available in Academic office of the University. The University will award medals on the basis of overall excellence in the academic performance in each MBA course. The University will also give an award certificate for the best dissertation and poster presentation.

Evaluation Process

Evaluation of a candidate’s performance is a continuous process. To be recommended for the award of the degree, candidates are required to achieve a prescribed standard in the total course work, including both mid-term and end-term examinations.

Award of Degree

The following are the requirements for passing the examination and award of the Degree


Every student is expected to attend all the classes (not less than 75% in any case). No unauthorized absence from field placement is permitted.


A student’s performance will be judged in the mid-term and end-term examinations. Every course carries a maximum of 100 marks. The mid-term exam includes assignments, class participation and written exams, whereas the end-term includes written exams. To clear a course every student has to score a minimum of 50% marks.

Summer Training

Summer training is an integral part of the course. The students are assessed on the basis of their performance during summer training.Duration is 2 months.

Dissertation and Internship

Every student is required to write a dissertation and an internship report. The students are assessed on the basis of their performance in dissertation and internship.Duration is 3 months.


On completion of the programme, students become part of a network of alumni. An alumni newsletter, provides information on the current programme activities. An alumni reunion event is held at the IIHMR university at regular intervals.


The IIHMR university has a fully functional Placement Cell which plays an important role in facilitating the careers of the students. The Placement Cell consists of Dy. General Manager,Corporate(Academics) with the Dean (Academic and Student Affairs), as the Faculty Advisor, and Dean of SRM as the Faculty Coordinators acts in collaboration with the Assitant Manager(Academic and Placement) towards the successful arrangement of training and placements of the students. The Placement Committee which comprises of the student representatives from all the streams plays an important role in the Placement Cell. The Placement Cell facilitates the following activities: a) placements for summer training in the first year; b) placements for dissertation and internship in the second year; and c) campus placements for the outgoing students. Policy towards Ragging

The IIHMR university strictly follows set guidelines for anti-ragging . The IIHMR university observes “Zero tolerance” policy to ragging and expels students found guilty of maltreating freshers. Any student accused of ragging would be given a chance to explain his conduct and, if found guilty, will be straightaway expelled from IIHMR university. Every student and parent/Guardian should compulsorily submit a signed affidavit.
