  • The Department of Public Health and Family Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh approached the Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur-a WHO Collaborating centre for district health system based on primary health care- to conduct the Induction Training Programme for newly recruited medical officers under the department .
  • In response to this, the Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur developed and conducted this training programme.
  • The programme enabled the participants to discuss current and future challenges in a setting that provides a rare and unique opportunity to interact with subject experts.
  • The overall aim of the Induction Training Programme was to improve the participants understanding on health systems and various programmes being implemented.
  • In all, 17 newly recruited medical officer were training under the programme. The course was coordinated by Dr. P.R. Sodani.
