  • Objective : To assess the current status of the health facilities. To identify the problems with the healthcare providers. To recognize possible solutions to improve the condition of the facility.

  • Methodology : Quality Assessment by Checklist, Observation and In- depth Interview with health facility staff. A checklist was prepared.
  • Findings : Vacant post of Sweeper and Lab Technician identified.   Unavailability of Lady doctors, Lack of training- EmOC, MTP, Sterilization operation, RTI/ STI, Political interference was also found.   Old equipments. Unavailability  of  some  major  equipments.  Fear  to  use MRS for essential drugs, Lack of training- Inefficient ANMs and No baby warming facility found.
  • Recommendations : Training of MOs for sterilization operation, MTP, RTI/ STI.  Fill vacant posts by appointing trained staff.  Provide fund from state for tiled outer area. Monthly meeting of MRS, Monthly reporting of improvements, Staff should be bound to put protocols and guidelines in the health facility after training, SBA training of ANMs.
