Background
Hospitals in general are the backbone of the health care delivery system of any country. An average hospital in India continues to face many challenges. Upkeep and maintenance of critical equipment, supply chain management, healthcare waste management, quality assurance, patient safety and accreditation are the buzz word in health sector. Moreover, a modern hospital is labor intensive organization that involves huge expenses (both capex and opex). As a rule of thumb, we need to have a minimum of 2.5 employees per bed in a modern multispecialty hospital. The country is also facing an acute shortage of qualified, experienced, and trained hospital administrators. In such a scenario it becomes essential to focus on capacity building and training of the existing staff, aspiring to work as managers or heading the hospitals together with senior nurses and midlevel doctors and others in hospital management.

- To develop leadership and human resource management skills to effectively manage hospital operations.
- To equip participants with the knowledge and skills for management, as well as understanding the legal aspects of medical care.

The programme is designed for Hospital Administrators, CEOs/Directors of Hospitals, Medical Officers, Nurses, Academicians, Hospital Managers/Administrators, Medical Superintendents, Deputy Medical Superintendent, CMOs, Medical Officers working with Private Hospitals, Central Govt/State Govt, PSUs, Corporations, Railways, ESIC etc.
Programme Fee
The fee for Indian participant is INR 49,500 plus GST (18% as applicable) and for international participant is USD 772 plus GST (18% as applicable). The fees include tuition, background reading material, programme kit, stay in single occupancy room, breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea/coffee during the programme.
Pedagogy & Key Features
It is a three-day programme, delivered through lectures, discussions, case analysis, role play, group work, assignment, experiential learning, and recreational activities. It provides theoretical, actionable, and practical knowledge through a robust learning ecosystem comprising diverse training participants and faculty.
Venue
The programme is schedule during September 21 to 23, 2023 to be held at Kochi, Kerala, India. The programme will commence on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 9:00 am and conclude on Saturday, September 23, 2023 afternoon.
The participants are advised to schedule their check-in on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, evening and check-out on Saturday, September 23, 2023, afternoon.
Certification
A certificate of participation on completion of the programme will be issued by IIHMR University, Jaipur.
