Monitoring and Evaluation: Result Matrix

Monitoring and Evaluation: Result Matrix
December 02-06, 2024
Program Coordinator: Dr. Dhirendra Kumar

Background

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is critical and integral to any programme implementation. It is one of the important key functions of the programme manager. It enables the programme manager to implement the programme as per the planning and strategy for achieving results efficiently and effectively. Regular and concurrent monitoring diagnoses system and delivery-related issues and provides feedback on the current situations to support decision-making for mid-course corrective actions. Moreover, the evaluation measures the change in outcome during the intervention period. Hence, monitoring and evaluation are very important tools for programme managers to keep track of the result matrix to ensure smooth implementation and achieving desired outcomes.
