Centre for Environmental Health
On the occasion of IIHMR University’s Foundation Day on 6th October, Dr. P. R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, announced the opening of the Centre for Environmental Health.
The Centre is a pioneering initiative dedicated to advancing research, policy, and capacity building in areas such as climate change, water and sanitation, occupational health, and heat health.
It aims to foster sustainable solutions to emerging environmental challenges that directly impact population health and health systems.
The Centre will also serve as a hub for interdisciplinary collaboration, promoting evidence-based practices and innovative interventions to strengthen climate-resilient health systems and enhance community well-being.
