About Centre for Behavioural Sciences

Centre for Behavioural Sciences (CBS) established at the IIHMR University, Jaipur in partnership with UNICEF, Rajasthan is committed to advancing social development in the state through tailored interventions driven by Social and Behavioural Evidence, Behavioural Insights, and Human-Centred Design. The centre shall play a pivotal role in maximising the effectiveness and efficiency of public programmes at scale, through evidence and right holder centric solutions.

Objectives of the Centre
  • To lead, integrate and deliver cutting edge social research propelled by behavioural science and insights to improve the lives of people in Rajasthan.
  • Facilitate closer collaboration and develop transdisciplinary networks of behavioural and social researchers, academician policy makers and practitioners for sharing and creation of knowledge.
  • Contribute to enhanced policymaking, programme planning, and implementation for impactful change with evidence and innovative solutions.
