Eligibility Criteria

MBA in Hospital and Health Management, Pharmaceutical Management, Development Management, Healthcare Analytics, Master of Public Health

  • A Graduate from any discipline with 50% or above [45% or above for SC/ST/OBC/ EWS/ PwD] aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
  • Candidates in the final year of the bachelor's degree may also apply. If they would furnish evidence of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by September'2024
  • For candidates who do not have CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/CUET-PG scores but wish to apply for MBA Programs, IIHMR University will conduct IIHMRU-MAT and GD-PI. To Know the Dates, Click Here

Master of Public Health (Offered by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA in cooperation with IIHMR University )

Interested individuals from India and South-east Asian Region must have:

  • A bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of two years of experience (full time) related to health besides the Bachelor's/ Master's degree. (Work experience is waived for Ph.D. and M.B.B.S. graduates)
  • Prior college-level mathematics courses, prior college-level biology course and any health-related course.
  • Demonstrated English proficiency to a prior degree, TOEFL or IELTS.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and verbal skills through GRE, MCAT, LSAT, or GMAT. (Applicants with degrees beyond the bachelor's degree may request a waiver of standardized test scores if they are from other sources of quantitative abilities.)
GRE The GRE is offered on an appointment basis and this exam can be taken all round the year.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to the PhD Programme

  • Candidates who have completed a master's degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, and Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

PhD through Part-time Mode

Candidates who pursue the PhD programme through part-time mode are required to submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the appropriate authority in the organisation where the candidates are employed, clearly stating that:

  • The candidate is permitted to pursue studies on a part-time basis.
  • His/her official duties permit him/her to devote sufficient time for research.
  • If required, he/she will be relieved from the duty to complete the course work.
