Training Program on Hospital Management for Senior Medical Officers (SMOs), Government of Punjab
IIHMR University, Jaipur successfully conducted a five-day customized hospital management training program for 28 Senior Medical Officers (SMOs) from Punjab, aimed at enhancing managerial competencies and leadership skills to strengthen healthcare delivery in civil and district hospitals.
During a virtual interaction, Dr. Balbir Singh, Hon’ble Health Minister of Punjab, appreciated the initiative and assured that more such programs would be organized in collaboration with IIHMR University. He emphasized that continuous learning and management training are essential to improving hospital efficiency and patient care.
Dr. Balbir Singh, along with Dr. P.R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, also launched the book “Pharmacology” authored by Dr. Satinderjit Singh Bajaj.
Dr. P.R. Sodani highlighted that over 40 countries have benefitted from IIHMR’s capacity-building initiatives, reaffirming the University’s position as a global leader in public health and hospital management training.
