Vande Mataram 150 Years Celebration & Shaheedi Diwas Observance

IIHMR University commemorated 150 years of Vande Mataram and observed Shaheedi Diwas through a series of programmes promoting patriotism, remembrance, and national unity.

IIHMR University celebrated 150 years of the national song - VANDE MATARAM through a dedicated programme held on March 26, 2026, at the IT Auditorium, highlighting its historical and emotional signicance in India's freedom struggle and its continued relevance in inspiring patriotism and national unity. The event featured active participation from students and faculty, along with addresses by senior academic leaders, cultural presentations, and reective discussions on the legacy of the freedom movement.

In addition, the university observed Shaheedi Diwas through a special commemorative phase conducted from March 23 to March 30, 2026, honoring the exemplary sacrices of freedom ghters who laid down their lives in service of the nation.

The overall initiative promoted awareness, reection, and engagement within the academic community, reinforcing the University's commitment to strengthening values of national pride, civic responsibility, and collective remembrance.
