Inauguration of the 13th Cohort of the PhD Programme

IIHMR University inaugurated the 13th Cohort of its PhD Programme on July 04, 2026, marking the formal commencement of doctoral coursework for a new cohort of research scholars. Dr. P. R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, addressed the scholars and emphasized the University's commitment to fostering high-quality, evidence-based, and interdisciplinary research for addressing emerging healthcare and public health challenges.

The programme included an orientation on doctoral regulations, coursework, academic expectations, research ethics, and research opportunities across disciplines. The 13th Cohort reflects the University's expanding academic reach, attracting applications from across India and overseas, including the UAE and Liberia. Women constitute 50% of the admitted scholars, representing an 18% increase over the previous cohort and reinforcing the University's commitment to academic excellence, inclusivity, and research leadership.
