February 21–22, 2026 RTLA Conference (11th Edition)

The 11th Conference of the Rajasthan Technical Library Association (RTLA) was organised on the theme “Knowledge Commons: Libraries as Catalysts for Viksit Bharat 2047” on February 21–22, 2026, at IIHMR University, Jaipur.

Distinguished dignitaries including Dr. P.R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University; Dr. Pradeep Rai, President, Indian Library Association (ILA); Prof. Rajkumar Bhakar, Patron, RTLA; Dr. Dharam Kumar, General Secretary, ILA; and keynote speaker Dr. D. V. Singh, Former President, ILA, addressed the gathering.

Their insights highlighted the transformative role of libraries in fostering research, innovation, and informed decision-making aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

The conference concluded with a valedictory session graced by Prof. R. L. Raina, Vice Chancellor, Jaipur National University, as the Chief Guest, marking the successful completion of the two-day academic event.

The event provided a platform to deliberate on the evolving role of libraries as knowledge commons and their contribution towards national development. Dr. Shraddha Kalla, Librarian, IIHMR University, served as the Organising Secretary and is also the President of RTLA.
