International Training Program on Transformational Leadership for Health System Strengthening

Under the International Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, IIHMR University, Jaipur, has been identified as a “Partner Institute” for organising international training programs for participants from foreign ministries. In this series, the first program titled International Training Program on Transformational Leadership for Health System Strengthening (TLHSS) was organised at IIHMR University, Jaipur, from February 16–27, 2026. A total of 28 participants from 11 countries—Bhutan, Fiji, Liberia, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Tanzania, and Tunisia—participated in the program, reflecting strong global engagement. The inaugural session was addressed by Shri Naresh Goyal (IAS), Commissioner, Medical Education Department, Government of Rajasthan; Dr. P.R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University; and Dr. Himardi Sinha, Provost, IIHMR University. The program was coordinated by Ms. Kirti Agarwal. Program Highlights
