International Training Program on Transformational Leadership for Health System Strengthening (TLHSS)

IIHMR University organised the second batch of the International Training Program on Transformational Leadership for Health System Strengthening (TLHSS) under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Scheme of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, from June 29 to July 10, 2026. The programme brought together 19 healthcare professionals from nine countries, including Belarus, Bhutan, Fiji, Kenya, Nepal, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan and Tanzania, to strengthen leadership competencies and foster international collaboration in health system strengthening.

Dr. P. R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, Jaipur, inaugurated the programme and emphasized the signicance of global partnerships, knowledge exchange, and visionary leadership in advancing resilient and sustainable health systems. The programme features multidisciplinary learning across health systems, health economics, healthcare analytics, Articial Intelligence, implementation science, and leadership development, designed to enhance professional competencies and promote evidence-informed health system transformation.
