IIHMR University conducted a Guest Faculty Lecture under the theme Let's Talk About HEALTH, focusing on Cancer Control in the Community: Prevention, Early Detection, and Diagnosis, on August 18, 2026.

The session featured Dr. Naresh Somani, Director, Oncology & Head, Medical Oncology, HCG Cancer Centre & Somani Hospital, Jaipur, who provided valuable insights into the growing burden of cancer and emphasised the significance of prevention, early detection, timely diagnosis, and appropriate treatment.

The session highlighted the vital role of community-level interventions in advancing cancer control and improving public health outcomes.
