Regional Roundtable Consultation on India's National AI Strategy for Health
IIHMR Startup organised the Regional Round Table Consultation on India’s National AI Strategy for Health (NAISH) on Thursday, January 08, 2026, at , IIHMR University, Jaipur, with the support of the Indian Council of Medical Research – National Institute for Research in Digital Health and Data Science (ICMR–NIRDHDS), as part of the national strategy development process.
The consultation brought together key stakeholders to contribute region-specific insights on priorities, innovations, and governance experiences to ensure regional diversity, contextual relevance, and operational feasibility of the Strategy.
The discussions were structured around the Strategy’s five pillars:
- Data & Digital Infrastructure
- Governance, Ethics & Policies
- Workforce & Capacity Building
- Research, Innovation & Evidence Generation
- Health Systems Integration & Impact
