Training Session on Understanding Gender and POSH Act, 2013 13 IIHMR
IIHMR University, Jaipur, organised a training session on “Understanding Gender and the POSH Act, 2013” on January 05, 2026, under the aegis of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).
The session aimed to enhance awareness on gender sensitivity, workplace equality, and the legal framework for the prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace.
The programme featured a keynote address by Ms. Mukta Arora, State Coordinator, UN Women, who shared insights on gender perspectives, rights and responsibilities under the POSH Act, and institutional mechanisms for fostering safe, respectful, and inclusive work environments.
The programme reaffirmed the University’s commitment to promoting dignity, equality, and safety across its academic and professional community.
