Dr. Abhijeet Prasad Sinha
Dr. Abhijeet Prasad Sinha
Associate Professor
Dr. Abhijeet Prasad Sinha is a Public Health, Health Informatics and Healthcare Leadership expert with over 22 years of professional experience across India, South Africa, and the UK. His expertise spans public health, hospital management, health systems and policy, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), artificial intelligence and digital health, healthcare informatics, quality improvement, and strategic leadership.
He has held academic, leadership, advisory, and programme management roles with leading organisations and institutions. He previously served as Associate Professor at Amity University, Noida, and has worked with the EY Technical Support Unit supporting the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, as well as PATH, KPMG, Hindustan Unilever Limited, CARE India, HIV South Africa, and IDF-UNICEF. His experience spans government, international development, corporate, healthcare, and academic sectors, with a strong focus on strengthening health systems and translating evidence and innovation into practice.
Dr. Sinha holds a PhD in Population Health Informatics, a Master of Public Health from the University of Brighton, and an MBA/PGDM from XISS, Ranchi. He has more than 50 research publications, including contributions to The Lancet and the Global Burden of Disease Study, and holds a Government of India patent for his work in digital health.
His leadership experience includes leading academic and multidisciplinary initiatives, healthcare quality and digital transformation programmes, research collaborations, health-system strengthening initiatives, and strategic partnerships. His professional focus is on healthcare leadership, hospital management, HTA, AI-enabled healthcare, digital transformation, health policy, and evidence-informed decision-making to improve population health outcomes.
