Dr. Aditya Saxena is a distinguished computational biologist, healthcare analytics researcher, and academic leader with over 21 years of experience spanning AI/ML, clinical genomics, bioinformatics, and digital health informatics. His work sits at the critical intersection of multi-omics science, explainable artificial intelligence, and data-driven clinical decision-making, with a sustained focus on metabolic disease in South Asian populations.

Dr. Saxena holds a Doctorate in Bioinformatics from Uttarakhand Technical University, an M.Tech in Bioinformatics from the prestigious Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad, and is CSIR-UGC NET qualified. He secured AIR 115 at GATE 2002, conducted by IISc Bangalore. His career reflects a deep commitment to translational health research—from laboratory-level omics discovery to the design of clinically deployable predictive tools.

He currently serves as Associate Professor in the School of Digital Health at IIHMR University, Jaipur, where he leads teaching in Machine Learning, Python Programming, and R Programming. He has previously held faculty positions at Marwadi University and GLA University, and has supervised three Ph.D. scholars across computational genomics, healthcare data management, and bioinformatics.

An accomplished researcher with 19+ SCI-indexed publications and a growing citation record, Dr. Saxena's scholarly contributions span transcriptomics of adipose tissue pathology, machine learning models for insulin resistance and Type 2 Diabetes, EHR data governance using NoSQL and blockchain integration, AI-based drug discovery, and COVID-19 host genomics. His work has been published in leading international journals including Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Endocrinology, Biomolecules, Adipocyte, and the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.

Dr. Saxena has built a nationally recognized profile in Healthcare Analytics and Digital Health Systems. He brings hands-on expertise in Electronic Health Records (MIMIC III, MIMIC CXR), NLP tools (BioBERT, spaCy, FastText), deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras), and bioinformatics platforms (STAR, BWA, GATK, Cytoscape, Docker, Snakemake).

He is an IBM-Certified Trainer in Big Data Analytics, Data Mining & Predictive Modelling, and Pattern & Anomaly Detection, and holds an Elite Silver certification from IIT Kharagpur's NPTEL programme in Machine Learning.
