Dr. Padam Singh is a Renowned Biostatistician of International repute who received his doctorate from Delhi University in Statictics. His other specialization includes Research Methodology, Population Studies and Public Health. Dr Padam Singh has held many important positions in Government of India. He has been a Member of National Statistical Commission, GOI during 2006-09. He has served as Additional DG ICMR during 1997-2004, and Director National Institute of Medical Statistics during 1987-97. He has worked as Joint Adviser, Planning Commission during 1979-87 and Professor of Statistics at PUSA Institute 1975-79. Dr. Padam Singh has been involved in the evaluation of National Programmes. He has steered many Operational Research studies of national relevance. The findings of his applied and operational research have been used in modifying national programmes. Has published over 100 research papers in journals of national and international repute.
