NGO Management
Background
As the voluntary sector gains prominence in driving sustainable development and achieving SDGs, there's a growing demand to enhance the capacity of development professionals. E-certification courses in NGO Management have emerged to address this need, providing essential skills for success in the sector. This course covers planning, development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation within NGOs, focusing on managing financial, human, and material resources effectively. It emphasizes need-based strategic planning and proposal writing for resource mobilization, aiming to establish robust organizational structures. Participants will gain practical tools and strategic insights to excel in development roles or pursue fulfilling careers in the sector. Moreover, emphasis have been placed on developing skills in need-based strategic planning and proposal writing to facilitate successful resource mobilization for organizational sustainability and growth.
Course Objectives
- To understand NGO characteristics and CSR policy frameworks.
- To learn managerial challenges, administrative, financial, and organizational aspects of NGOs.
- To comprehend community participation, community-based organizations, and FPOs, focusing on PLA techniques.
- To acquire skills in strategic planning, financial supervision, policy planning, and grant proposal writing.
