Health Talk on Adult Vaccination

IIHMR University organised an insightful health talk on Adult Vaccination on May 26, 2026, in collaboration with GSK, a multinational healthcare company. The session was delivered by Dr. Sudhir Bhandari, Pro-Chancellor and Senior Professor, Jaipur National University, and former Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur. The talk highlighted the growing importance of adult vaccination in preventing infectious diseases and reducing the risk of severe health complications, particularly among older adults and individuals with comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiac disease. The session also emphasised the role of preventive healthcare measures and vaccines including inuenza, pneumococcal, and herpes zoster in promoting preventive healthcare and strengthening public health awareness.
