Second International Training Programme on Transformational Leadership for Health System Strengthening

IIHMR University conducted the Second Batch of the International Training Programme on Transformational Leadership for Health System Strengthening (TLHSS) under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Scheme of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, from June 29 to July 10, 2026. The programme brought together 19 healthcare professionals from Belarus, Bhutan, Fiji, Kenya, Nepal, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, and Tanzania, fostering international academic engagement through focused sessions on health systems, health economics, healthcare analytics, artificial intelligence, implementation science, supply chain management, and leadership.

The programme was formally concluded in the presence of Dr. P. R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, who highlighted the value of sustained international engagement in strengthening health systems and advancing public health practice. Ms. Kirti Agarwal, Assistant Professor, IIHMR University, coordinated the programme, ensuring its effective execution and successful completion.

The initiative further reinforced the University's standing as a centre of excellence for international capacity-building and academic engagement.
