Visit of Dr. Nathaniel O. Brown
Dr. Nathaniel O. Brown, Director, Counseling Program and Assistant Professor, School of Education, Johns Hopkins University, Mount Washington Campus, visited IIHMR University, Jaipur, from January 11 to January 15, 2026.
During his visit, he met with Dr. P. R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University, Jaipur. He interacted with students through a dedicated session on “Seeking Counselling: Early Alerts and Actions.”
Dr. Brown participated in multiple academic sessions and shared his research experiences related to foster care, mental health issues, Vimukti, and school education research.
He also engaged in faculty interaction sessions on “Transformational Power of Mentoring” and “Multicultural Issues,” and discussions were held to explore potential areas of academic and research collaboration.
In addition to academic engagements, Dr. Brown participated in the Kite Flying Festival at Jal Mahal Lakeside and a Walled City tour.
The visit was academically enriching and contributed to meaningful deliberations on counselling, mental health, and education research.
