Dr. Chandrakant Lahariya is India’s one of the leading medical doctors, infectious diseases and preventive medicine, and vaccines and immunization  experts. He has extensive experience in child health, school health, early childhood development and preterm and stillbirths. Dr Lahariya has 15+ years of work experience at international level with the World Health Organisation (In India, in Africa and the HQ in Geneva) as well as with UNICEF and the World Bank.

Dr Lahariya has published extensively in reputed medical journals. He has received several prestigious awards and recognitions including Indian Council of Medical Research’s Dr BC Shrivastava Foundation Award 2012.

In year 2020, 2021 and 2022, he was listed as top 2% global researchers in the field of Paediatrics and Public Health by a Stanford University research. His writing appears regularly in all leading newspapers and writes regular columns for The Hindu, The Asian Age and Dainik Bhaskar. He is the lead co-author of the bestselling book ‘Till We Win: India’s Fight Against The COVID-19 Pandemic’. He is the youngest fellow every elected to the Indian Public Health Association in year 2015.
