Dr. Mamta Chauhan has 25 years of experience in Teaching, Training, and Research. She has M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Rajasthan. Prior to IIHMR, she was working at the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare Rajasthan as an Associate Professor for 15 years. During her tenure there, she had been actively involved in the planning and implementation of capacity enhancement initiatives for health human resources. She had contributed as coordinator/Co-PI for various research projects conducted by the Institute. She also has experience of developing, adapting and designing pedagogy of various training programs under National Health Mission and served as facilitator and trainer for various training programs under National Health Mission. She has attended various training of Trainers organized by MoHFW, NIHFW and NHSRC. She is a national level trainer of Rastriya Kishore Swasthya Karyakram. As a mentor of foundation Training Program for Newly recruited Medical Officers, she has contributed in capacity building of more than 3000 Newly recruited Medical Officers in Rajasthan. Has worked as a mentor for various programs of development partners like UNICEF, and UNFPA at SIHFW. She has been a part of State Resource Group of ICDS Department under NNM Poshan Abhiyaan and also served as a Resource Person for training programs at IGPRS, OTS- HCM, State Institute of Public Administration, RICEM, Rajasthan Police academy, and Central Bureau of health intelligence. She has extensive experience in teaching, research, administration, and consultation for health care projects. She has the experience of working on ICMR projects besides teaching and counselling services.
