Dr. Manoj Pareek
Dr. Manoj Pareek
Associate Professor
Dr. Manoj Pareek is an Associate Professor at IIHMR University, Jaipur, with over two decades of experience spanning industry and academia. His professional journey includes roles in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector as well as teaching assignments at reputed institutions. He has previously been associated with Bennett University, Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) and Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).
Dr. Pareek holds a PhD from Tumkur University, Karnataka, an MBA from Devi Ahilya University, DAVV, Indore, and a B. Com from the University of Delhi. He is also a Fellow in Insurance (FIII) from the Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.
He brings nearly two decades of industry experience across banking, consumer durables, and insurance, including eleven years in the private general insurance sector with leading insurers such as HDFC ERGO General Insurance Ltd. and ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co. Ltd.
His research interests focus on health economics, universal healthcare, health and general insurance, and technology-driven financial services. His published work examines health insurance markets in India, including claims management, consumer behaviour, telemedicine, wearables, and government initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat and PMBJP.
