Dr. Sandesh Kumar Sharma

Associate Professor

Dr. Sandesh Kumar Sharma, Professional Expert in Hospital Management & Health Care Administration is presently serving as Associate Professor, IIHMR University, Jaipur since 2016. He received his Ph.D. in Hospital Management from SGVU Jaipur, Master’s Degree MBA-Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma City University, USA, preceded by MBBS from LMC. He also has the honour of appointment as Associate in the Department of Health Policy and Management, Bloomberg School of Public Health, John Hopkins University, USA.
His Professional Experience is spread over 21 years with 18 years in teaching inclusive of 10 years as Associate Professor at IIHMR University Jaipur, NIMS University Jaipur. Assistant Professor include IIHMR, NIMS and Baqai Medical Universities. He has crafted Syllabus for MBA in "Hospital Management and Health Care Administration" duly approved by the Academic Councils of NIMS & Baqai Universities. He has the unique honour of serving as Clinical /Administrator for 2 years at Civil Hospital & Memon hospital and Wake Med Hospital Raleigh USA. He has published numerous peer-reviewed publications highlighting his research exploring health and hospital management. His research areas include Hospital Management and Healthcare Administration.
He was also Conferred with – the “100 most Dedicated Professors Award” at World Education Congress 2019 held in Mumbai, India. His Professional Membership include Life Member Academy of Hospital Administration. He is committed to supporting and learning from students and to being a lifelong learner to continually evolve and grow as an educator.
