Dr. Seema Mehta has 22 years of experience in Teaching, Training, and Research in the field of Management. She has obtained Ph.D. in Healthcare Services Management & a Master of Business Administration(M.B.A) with a specialization in Marketing. She is presently Faculty In-charge of the cooperative program of IIHMR University and Johns Hopkins University. She holds the position Rank of Associate in the Department of International Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, John Hopkins University, USA. She is actively involved in teaching Management of Public Health, Social Marketing, Healthcare Data Analytics, Social Entrepreneurship, Healthcare Marketing, and Ethical Leadership for Master of Public health and MBA students. She is also extensively involved in writing and conducting research proposals for funding agencies and conducting Management Development Programs for industry, Academic Institutions, and Government sector employees viz World Bank, World Health Organisation(WHO), Government of Bhutan, etc. She has conducted training sessions on managerial skills for National Health Mission officials of different states (Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat), Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited(IFFCO), Surya Roshni Ltd., BKT Tyres, etc. She has successfully conducted funded projects for an organization like Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) Geneva, UNICEF, CUTS International and Government of Rajasthan. Her project areas include Social Marketing for Social Goods, Social Entrepreneurship, Managerial issues of Public Health, etc. Her recent work on “Social determinants of Vaccine Hesitancy towards Childhood Immunization in Rajasthan “ is funded by UNICEF(United Nations Children's Fund).


She has two books, sixteen international & twenty-six national publications to her credit. She has visited Netherlands and Germany under the group study exchange program organized by Rotary International. She has participated and presented her research work in national and international forums. She presented a paper entitled “Developing Social Marketing Framework: Insights of Empirical Investigation” in Micronutrient Forum, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She has also developed cases and conducted faculty development programs on research-related issues which are sponsored by University Grant Commission(UGC) and AICTE. She has successfully guided one Ph.D. student and several Master level students for their research work.
