Dr. Vidya Bhushan Tripathi

Vidya Bhushan Tripathi is a seasoned Development Professional with over fifteen years of extensive experience in social development and public health at both national and international level. He has actively collaborated with esteemed entities such as the Ministry of Health Family Welfare, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Planning Commission (NITI Aayog), Government of India and UN Agencies. Vidya has showcased his proficiency in various domains including Project Management, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research Analysis, Data Management, Training, Advocacy, and Capacity building. His skill spans across key areas such as Digital Health, Health Management Information System, Implementation Research, Mental Health, and Public Health Issues. With a pursuing Ph.D. in Public Health Management, Vidya has contributed significantly to over 40 research projects at IIHMR University. Vidya has also worked with the NITI Aayog and Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, as a Young Professional. Additionally, Vidya has worked in neighbouring countries Bangladesh and Nepal on public health issues. He holds a Master’s in Information Technology and an MBA in Healthcare Management, along with several training and certifications from prestigious institutions like ISRO, WHO, World Psychiatric Association, University of Manchester, University of Pennsylvania, and Johns Hopkins University. He is certified in Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro certified) by APMG International, in association with Johns Hopkins University, USA. He is also trained in GMHAT for assessing, detecting, and managing mental health. His area of interest includes Digital Health, HMIS, Mental Health and Innovations in Health Education.
