Admission Procedure for International Students

Step 1: Fill the online application form available on www.iihmr.edu.in under section International Admissions and send the required documents for verification on internationaladmissions@iihmr.edu.in. List of required documents list is given below-

  • X / SSC Marks Sheet / 'O' Level Certificate
  • XII / HSSC / Intermediate Marks Sheet / 'A' Level Certificate
  • Mark Sheets Graduation
  • Equivalence Certificate (from AIU)
  • Migration Certificate
  • Xerox copy of Passport

Step 2: At the time of submitting the application form you are required to pay an application fee of INR 1000/- through payment gateway or bank transfer. For payment, please see section payment details for international students.

Step 3: A confirmation of receipt of application form will be issued within 48 hours. If confirmation is not received, write to internationaladmissions@iihmr.edu.in. After the verification of eligibility, a conditional offer letter shall be issued and sent to your registered email id.

Step 4: On receipt of conditional offer; pay the prescribed fee as mentioned in the offer letter through bank transfer/online payment gateway and submit the receipt mentioning your name, course applied for at internationaladmissions@iihmr.edu.in.

Step 5: After confirmation of the fees received, an acceptance letter (Visa Letter) will be issued which is required to apply for student visa at the nearest Indian Embassy in your home country.

Step 6: Important: please note, all international students have to register with the Foreigner’s Regional Registration Office (FRRO). This must be done within 14 days of arrival or else you attract a penalty fee.

Final Admission: Personal interview with verification along with the full fee deposition is the final step for the conversion of provisional admission to confirmed admission.

After obtaining the provisional eligibility letter the following requirements have to be fulfilled:

  • Visa
  • No objection certificate/ Equivalence certificate from (AIU)
  • Fee
  • Medical test: Medical test report to show that student does not have any contagious or infectious diseases including hepatitis B, chest infections and heart disease. Chest X-ray must be attached with report.
