World Health Day 2026 – Poster Making Competition
About World Health Day
World Health Day, observed every year on 7 April, commemorates the founding of the World Health Organization. Each year, it highlights a priority area for global public health and mobilizes action globally and locally.
The 2026 theme — "Together for health: Stand with science" — focuses on scientific collaboration to protect the health of people, animals, plants, and the planet.
It highlights how evidence-based decisions, innovation, and collective action can safeguard well-being of future generations — from vaccination and sanitation to climate-responsive health systems — inspiring communities to trust science and build a world where health is accessible to all.
About the Competition
The S D Gupta School of Public Health, IIHMR University, Jaipur is organizing this competition to encourage creativity and awareness about the role of science in shaping a healthier tomorrow. Participants are encouraged to creatively interpret the theme "Science in Action for a Healthier Tomorrow" through visual storytelling.

Open to students, college students, working professionals and others across India.

Submission Guidelines
- Handmade poster on chart paper only
- Size: Small 28x43 cm / Medium 46x61 cm / Large 61x91 cm
- High-resolution scan or photo (all four edges visible)
- Accepted formats: JPEG / PNG / PDF • Max: 50 MB
- One entry per participant only
- File naming: Name_Category_Title
Originality & Declaration
- All submissions must be original work of the participant
- Plagiarized or AI-generated entries will be disqualified

Important Instructions
- Retain original posters until results are announced
- The winning contestant will be required to share the original posters with us via courier (courier charges will be prepaid by us).
