However, standardized test scores (GRE, GMAT, LSAT, or MCAT) are optional for this program but the inclusion. • Official Credential Evaluation of all Foreign Transcripts (all colleges/universities outside of the U.S. that you have attended) should be sent through World Education Services or WES. The CAS provider you should choose is SOPHAS. WES also offers a 10% discount for students having records evaluated for the SOPHAS application. The course-by-course evaluations allow applicant reviewers to properly understand your academic success and original transcripts confirm the authenticity of the applicant's degree. Therefore, Johns Hopkins BSPH will continue to require credential evaluations review course-by-course and include academic records and transcripts in the completed evaluation.
  • All credential evaluations need to be sent electronically to "SOPHAS" and "Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health Admissions Services 615 North Wolfe Street E1002 Baltimore, MD 21205". WES and ECE are the only BSPH approved agencies.
  • The BSPH is no longer in favor of unofficial transcripts to expedite the admissions process. Applications can only be reviewed on official documentation uploaded by SOPHAS. BSPH  are seeking our help to urge applicants to begin the WES process very early, as sometimes the process can take 4-6 months to complete.
