Management Development Programme on Project Management for BVG Emergency Medical Services

IIHMR University organised a three-day Management Development Programme (MDP) on Project Management for BVG Emergency Medical Services from May 20–22, 2026, in Pune. The programme was designed to enhance project management and leadership competencies among senior managers engaged in the planning, implementation, and management of emergency medical service operations. A total of 20 senior officials from BVG India Ltd. participated in the programme.

The programme featured sessions by Dr. P. R. Sodani, President, IIHMR University; Dr. Biranchi Kumar Jena, Associate Professor; Dr. Goutam Sadhu, Associate Professor; Dr. Anoop Khanna, Associate Professor; and Ms. Kirti Agarwal, Assistant Professor, IIHMR University.

Key thematic areas included health system frameworks for emergency medical services, project management processes, stakeholder analysis, monitoring and evaluation, risk management, and project execution tools. The programme served as a comprehensive learning platform to strengthen managerial capabilities and promote operational excellence in emergency healthcare systems.
