Scholarship Policy for students of MBA-Development Management admitted for the academic session 2024-2026

IIHMR University, Jaipur envisages granting partial fee scholarships in the form of partial tuition fee waiver to prospective MBA students of all categories including General category based on academic merit. IIHMR University also offer full fee scholarships (100% tuition fee waiver) to students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC- Non-Creamy layer/ EWS on combined merit. The policy/guidelines for granting scholarships are as under:


MBA (Development Management)  
Partial fee scholarships :

The partial fee scholarships will be awarded to students applying for MBA (Development Management) on meeting any one of the given eligibility criteria and score obtained in the admission process:

For General Category Students
  • Total Number of Merit Scholarships Available: 06 Scholarships
  • Eligibility Criteria
    • 55% or above aggregate marks in bachelor’s degree (Or)
    • 55 percentile or above in CAT/ XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/ATMA
For SC/ST/OBC-NC/EWS students
  • Total Number of Merit Scholarships Available: 04 Scholarships
  • Eligibility Criteria
    • 50% or above aggregate marks in any Bachelor’s degree (OR)
    • 50 percentile or above in CAT/ XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/ATMA
Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 60,000 each student
Freeships:
  • Under freeships, full tuition fee reimbursement will be offered to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ EWS (Economically Weaker section) on need cum merit basis.
  • Total Number of Freeships available: 4 (1 seat each for SC, ST, OBC- NC and EWS)
  • Eligibility Criteria:Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NC/EWS category are eligible for award of Full Fee Scholarship for all MBA programs. Full fee scholarship will be offered to selected students based on combined merit (Including all rounds of GD & PI) prepared after completion of all rounds of GD PI.
  • Amount of Freeship: Rs. 3,48,000 each student
Terms & Conditions
  • Merit Scholarships/ Freeships are not guaranteed to all the candidates fulfilling the above criteria.
  • Limited number of merit scholarships for each program (as mentioned above) will be awarded based on the above eligibility criteria and on first come first serve basis at the sole discretion of the Admission Committee of the university.
  • Limited no. of Freeships will be awarded to eligible students (as mentioned above) based on combined merit list prepared (including all rounds of GD&PI) at the time of admission.
  • The total scholarship amount will be adjusted in the last instalments. The amount of Scholarship will not be disbursed directly to the student.
  • Benefits under freeships and scholarships cannot be availed together. Students who are offered freeship will not be eligible for availing scholarship along with freeship.
  • In case of non-availability of eligible students belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NC/EWS category, the remaining no. of partial scholarships under this category will be offered to eligible students belonging to General category and vice versa.
  • In case of non-availability of eligible students belonging to SC/ST category, the remaining no. of freeships under this category will be offered to eligible students belonging to OBC-NC/ EWS and vice versa.
Other Terms and Conditions
  • The University reserves the right to add, withdraw or modify any of the criteria, amount and count for all scholarship details mentioned above at any time. Decision of the University will be final regarding award of scholarships to the deserving candidates. The Academic Department of the University will maintain the records related to the grant of scholarships.
  • Every candidate wishing to apply for the freeships shall be required to submit latest SC/ST/OBC-Non Creamy layer/EWS Certificate from a competent authority. Candidates from the SC/ST/OBC-Non Creamy layer/EWS-Non Creamy layer have to determine their eligibility for gaining scholarship as per the prevalent Rules and Regulations of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
  • The Scholarship may be discontinued at any time for any kind of misconduct by the student, like involving in the act of ragging, misbehavior etc. on the recommendations of the Head of the University.
