Are the programs offered by Indian institutions recognized? Which is the authority body which has approved IIHMR University?

It is mandatory for all universities/institutions offering professional and technical courses in India to be recognized by the national level statutory bodies established for the maintenance of norms and standards. Indian degrees are recognized worldwide. IIHMR University is approved by UGC (Govt. of India) of India.

What do I need to do to apply for this program?

You may apply online or download the application form from our website: www.iihmr.edu.in. Duly completed application forms may be sent by post along with a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of “IIHMR University”, payable at Jaipur along with all the documents in support of eligibility.

Are we covered under Medical Insurance?

All International students are covered under Group Mediclaim Policy. It is a Cashless Mediclaim Policy and covers hospitalization expenses in all the major hospitals listed in the policy.

Are books provided to students from the University?

Dr. D.A. Henderson Library and Documentation Center at IIHMR University has a huge collection of books, journals, and other materials. It is committed to provide user friendly services and easy access to facilities. The library has a collection of more than 31,500 volumes including textbooks, reference books, training materials, case studies, manuals, reports and conference proceedings. The library also houses Udai Pareek HRD Resource Center. The library remains open 15 hours a day from 8 am to 10 pm and up to 19-20 hours a day (subject to approval) during examinations.

Is there any scholarship for International Students?

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship: The scholarship will be awarded to students based on combined merit prepared at time of admitting students in the course.
Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 1,00,000 per student. Each student who is awarded the scholarship will receive a total amount of Rs. 1,00,000. The total scholarship amount will be adjusted in the third fee installment. The amount of scholarship will not be disbursed directly to the student.

Can an NRI/Foreign Nationals student pay the course /tuition fee in Indian rupees?

Yes, Course/ tuition fee can be paid either in US Dollars or in Indian Rupees.

When is the last date to submit the application?

May 11, 2019 is the last date to submit the application for all courses, under foreign/ NRI quota.

Do you have a Placement Cell? What will the Placement Cell do for my final job placement?

No organization can guarantee placement but, yes, there is a placement cell with student members and a faculty coordinator. The cell organizes campus interviews and regularly updates the job opportunities. In the past almost all students have been placed as a result of campus interviews organized by the cell.

Food

Indian food- vegetarian or non-vegetarian is served in the hostel mess. At campus, there is a food court where a variety of food is served. There are excellent multi-cuisine restaurants available in Jaipur city.
