Introduction

The objective of this training is to help the professionals/UG/PG/Research students to understand the principles, practice, and elements of pharmaceutical marketing communication and to provide a comprehensive managerial framework for an integrated marketing communications programme with important issues in planning and evaluation of marketing communication strategies and execution.
The three-day Pharmaceutical Marketing Communication Training Workshop has equipped participants with essential skills and knowledge to navigate the complex landscape of pharmaceutical marketing. Participants are encouraged to apply their learnings and continuously adapt their strategies to excel in the competitive pharmaceutical market.
The training on “Pharmaceutical Marketing Communication” will give a broader concept of integrated marketing communication and how it will become effective for companies. The elements of integrated marketing communication are explained extensively. Salesforces are a part of personal selling. Personal selling is an element of integrated marketing communication. In today’s market-driven economy interactive marketing is essential. Salesforces were vital to creat that interaction between a company and the customers. The aim of the Programme is to strengthen participants with concepts and current practices in Pharmaceutical Marketing. The participants will be familiarized with the integration of marketing communication strategies for building brands.

  • Concept and Understanding Pharmaceutical Marketing Communication
  • Target Audience Identification Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning
  • Advertising and Classification of Advertising
  • Integrated marketing communication

Day 2 - Marketing Communication

  • Implementing Communication Strategies for marketing communication
  • Media in advertising: Print media, electronic media, Media in advertising
  • Sales Promotion, Personal pharmaceutical selling
  • Pharmaceutical Sales forecasting: concepts and techniques

Day 3 - Reaching Patients and Consumers

  • Patient-centric communication approaches.
  • Utilizing patient support programs and adherence initiatives.
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) for evaluating marketing communication success.

The programme is designed for pharmaceutical professionals including Medical, Pharmaceutical, Officer, managers, Coordinator, Administrative Officers, directors, Pharma Managers, Consultants and personal with substantial managerial responsibilities, interests, and motivation to learn and improve pharmaceutical communication.

The programme will use a mix of training methods including lecture-cum-discussion, case analysis, group work, assignment, field visits, and experiential learning. Dr. Sudhinder Singh Chowhan is Associate Professor at the IIHMR University, Jaipur. He had completed his master’s and Ph.D. in Management from Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer Rajasthan and obtained his Pharmacy Degree from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. He is having 16 years’ experience in Teaching Management subjects to students from Graduation, Post-graduation, and Research level and 5 yrs. in Pharmaceutical Industry. Throughout his academics, he won laurels and awards and one fellowship, namely FIJRE. Eight books have been authored by Dr. Sudhinder. Several articles and more than 40 research papers has been published in National and International repute journals. He visited several countries such as Denmark, Russia, Sri Lanka, Dubai, and Nepal for presenting research papers, talks and other academic and research activities. He has also been invited by various academic institutions for extension lectures. He has been actively involved in different Management assignments too. His strength lies in his ability to deliver the inputs in a simple and easy to get the positive feedback.

Programme Fee

The programme fee for Indian participants is INR 24,750+18% GST and for International Participants: US$ 462+18% GST. The programme fee includes tuition, background reading material, programme kit, lodging, and boarding.

Discounts

Early Bird Discount: Nominations received with payments on or before 4-weeks (November 26, 2023) will be entitled to an early bird discount of 10%.

Group Discount: Any organization sponsoring four or more participants to the programme will be entitled for a discount of 20% on the total fee payable provided that at least four participants attend the programme.

Maximum Discount: Organizations can avail themselves of both the discounts subject to maximum discount of 20%.

Duration & Venue

The training has been scheduled between December 27 - 29, 2023. The Venue of the programme would be IIHMR University, Jaipur, India. IIHMR University is located near Jaipur International airport, Sanganer, Jaipur. The University campus provides a learning environment to the participants. The participants are welcome to use the library and recreational facilities at the campus.

Certification

A Certificate of participation on completion of the programme will be issued by IIHMR University, Jaipur.
