World Health Day 2024 Poster Competition
My Health, My Right
Join the World Health Day 2024 Poster Competition.
To mark World Health Day 2024, SD Gupta School of Public Health is thrilled to announce an exciting online Poster Competition. This year, the WHO theme is "My Health, My Right," emphasizing the fundamental right to health for all individuals.
Despite recognizing health as a human right in their constitution, most of the countries have to pass and put into practice the laws to ensure that the people have access to health services. It is noted that approximately 4.5 billion people i.e. more than half of the world’s population — are not fully covered by essential health services.
To generate deliberations, ideas and solutions to address these types of challenges, 'My health, my right’ has been chosen as the theme for World Health Day 2024. This symbolizes the efforts to champion the right of everyone, everywhere to have access to quality health services, education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working and environmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination.
This could mean Equality, non – discrimination, participation , involvement when looking from those availing health services. From the provider point, right to health indicates a sense of accountability towards the beneficiaries . This could also mean making services and medicines available to all, accessible to all and providing services which are acceptable to all and providing high quality services. Competition Guidelines
- Poster Specifications:Create your poster on a normal Chart Paper. You have the option to choose from the following specifications
- Small Posters: 28 x 43 cm
- Medium Posters: 46 x 61 cm
- Large Posters: 61 x 91 cm
- Registration: Participants can register for the competition and upload their work through the provided link https://form.jotform.com/230920959845063
- Eligibility: The competition is open to students studying in schools, colleges, and universities across India
- Original Entries: All submissions must be original work. Participants are required to submit a declaration confirming the originality of their entries.
- Submission Deadline: The deadline for submission of posters is tentatively set for April 15, 2024.
How to Participate
- Create a visually captivating poster that reflects the theme "My Health, My Right."
- Ensure your poster title is prominently displayed at the top in large letters.
- Choose your preferred poster size from the options provided.
- Fill in the necessary details and upload a clear scanned copy of your poster using the registration form.
