Prof.(Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Sinha is a distinguished academic and professional leader in Health Information Management and Health Informatics having more than 22 years of experience in academics, research and administration. His area of specialization and research includes big data analytics, cloud computing, designing, and modelling health informatics application, public health information system, behavioural and usability assessment of health informatics application etc,. Dr. Sinha earned his Doctorate in Health Informatics from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education with a research focus on developing a customized decision support system for oncology. He has in his credit more than 42 research publications in national and international journals of well repute and 35 research and review papers presentation in national and international conferences. The research project completed by him on Hospital Performance Monitoring and Reporting in the State of Kerala, India was funded and well appreciated by WHO & OECD. Throughout his career, Dr. Sinha has held key positions in prominent institutions, including as Dean-Academics & Director-Online Education at SGT University, Deputy Director at Amity Medical School and Head of Allied Health at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka. His expertise in integrating health informatics into public health and healthcare management has contributed to the establishment of innovative academic programs. International collaborations with institutions like Indiana University and Purdue University highlight his dedication to expanding educational opportunities in health information management, aligning them with global industry standards. He has served various national and international conferences committee as scientific advisor and chaired various sessions on health informatics, health information management and healthcare management. Dr. Rajesh is a certified auditor of Quality Management, Environment Management and Energy Management System and has contributed immensely to streamlining the quality management system and environment management system of various institutions. He is into the core committee as an expert for recommending curriculum and program structure for Health Information Management and Informatics Program at National Commission of Allied and Health Professions under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Committed to delivering quality education in higher education institutions, he has successfully implemented outcome-based education frameworks and other regulatory guidelines across various institutions.
