Dr. Ritu
Dr. Ritu Vashistha
Assistant Professor
Dr. Ritu holds a Ph.D. in Management (MGT) from Amity University, Rajasthan, a testament to her commitment to advancing knowledge in the field. Complementing this, Dr. Vashistha holds an MBA in Human Resources, M.Sc. in Computer Science, ‘B’ Level (Equivalent MCA), ‘A’ Level and ‘O’ Level accreditation from the DOEACC Society in Delhi, showcasing her expertise in information technology.
Her diverse skill set, encompassing both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise, enriches her contributions to the academic and administrative spheres.
Dr. Vashistha has about 17 years of Teaching, Research and Administrative Experience as Program coordinator for various Management programs, including MBA, BBA, B. Com(H) and M. Com (Distance Learning). She was also member of the Industry Advisory Council and Board of Studies; she plays a crucial role in shaping academic programs.
Dr. Vashistha has been instrumental in institutional development, actively participating as a convener and member in a myriad of events such as conferences, seminars, management and technical fests, guest lectures, and convocations. Notably, she has contributed to the academic landscape by developing specializations in Digital Marketing and Data Science for the MBA program, showcasing her commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends.
In the realm of research, Dr. Vashistha has presented 30 research papers in national and international conferences and seminars, and her work has been published in reputable journals and edited books. She has also contributed cases to Sage Business cases and papers in Scopus "B" category journals. Her academic prowess is further underscored by her attendance at Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and various training sessions.
Beyond academia, Dr. Vashistha has been involved in examination panels for diverse colleges and universities and has successfully conducted courses for international students. As a life member of the Indian Society of Training and Development, Dr. Vashistha has shared her expertise by conducting sessions for MSME.
