Dr. Sanjay Gupta
Dr. Sanjay Gupta
Professor
Dr. Gupta has extensive experience of 30+ years in Teaching, Training, Research, and Networking. He has been a Professor & Head of the Department of Community Health Administration at the National Institute of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi (an autonomous institute of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India). Dr. Gupta holds MD (Community Medicine), 1990, from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He served as an expert member of several committees of the Government of India, State Governments, Development partners, and academic institutions.
Dr. Gupta completed courses on Health Management, Policy and Planning (1995) from Nuffield Institute of Health, Leeds, UK, WHO Fellowship on Monitoring and Evaluation (2004), WBI/Harward Flagship course on Health System Reform and Sustainable Financing at World Bank Washington, USA (2008). He has completed many research projects/studies on Health Systems, Maternal and Child Health, National Health Programmes, Quality of Care, Vaccine Management, etc. He has developed, designed, and conducted many national and international training programmes for governmental and non-governmental organizations.
