SDG SPH World Health Day Celebration Online Competitions Result 2025
To mark World Health Day 2025, the SD Gupta School of Public Health organized an exciting online Poster Competition. This year, the WHO theme was "Healthy beginnings, hopeful futures," emphasizing the need for focusing preventable maternal and newborn deaths.
To address this pertinent area, this year’s poster competition’s theme was ‘A Brighter Tomorrow - Every Mother and Newborn Counts’ Globally, 800 pregnant women and 6200 newborns die every day due to largely preventable causes. A positive pregnancy experience culminating in a safe delivery and a healthy newborn is foundational for holistic development in later life. These healthy newborns would eventually shape the transformation into the bright and productive generation of tomorrow.
The competition was open to students studying in schools, colleges, and universities across India. Participants were required to ensure that the scan or high-resolution photograph captured all four edges of their chart paper when uploading their entries as JPEG, PNG, or PDF. All submissions had to be original work. Participants were required to submit a declaration confirming the originality of their entries. The deadline for poster submission was set for April 15, 2025.
