Mid -Term Impact Assessment Study of Promotion of Agriculture and Horticulture for Advancement of Livelihoods (PAHAL) Project in Dungarpur, Rajasthan
Agency : Dharampal Satyapal Limited, Noida
The study assessed the outcomes of the Livelihood and Nutrition Intervention, a CSR initiative of DS Group in tribal areas. The project has created substantial impact in terms of income generation and dietary diversity among poor and marginalized farmers of Dungarpur. The most effective activity was promotion of kitchen gardens, Wadi, and vegetable production by optimum use of inputs and irrigation facilities. The project helped farmers in reducing input cost and higher production.
