Dr. Alok Kumar Mathur

Associate Professor

Prof. Alok Mathur has professional background of research, evaluation, programme management and documentation in various innovative educational and health projects. He has done his Ph.D in Commerce, Master's in Economic Administration, MBA in Human Resource Development and Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication. He has many international and national publications to his credit. He developed and managed HIV prevention, care and support demonstration project Saksham addressing rural traditional female sex workers with the approach of empowerment. He has the credit of initiating first two sex workers collective through ICHAP and first block level Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission Centre through UNICEF in Rajasthan. His current areas of interest are HIV & AIDS, Rural Development, Communication and Capacity building of NGOs.
