Programme Educational Objectives

The course is designed to impart training to healthcare professionals to develop an understanding of digital health innovations in enhancing the performance of health systems in terms of availability, affordability, and quality of healthcare services.
The focus of the course will be on understanding the implications of the digital transformations being envisaged in the health system and how to deliver patient-centric healthcare.

Course Format

The course is self-paced, asynchronous learning with a weekly, one-hour live meeting with faculty and peers (4:00 pm – 5:00 pm).
Participants can attend online sessions directly from their desktop/laptop (Direct-2-device). In addition to attending interactive sessions, participants have to undertake online quizzes, assignments, and examinations. Participants will be provided with reading materials for the course. In addition, offline classes will be conducted at the university campus in Jaipur. During the course duration, participants get an opportunity to attend two times 5-day residencies (i.e., offline classes on the campus with faculty). The first residency will be held in the first month of the course and the second residency will be held in the last month of the course.

Course Pedagogy

The course will be conducted through a judicious mix of training methods appropriately suitable for working professionals including lectures-cum-discussions, case discussion/analysis, project work, term papers, and assignments. The course encourages participatory learning.
