The broad objectives of the evaluation study were: assess the extent to which the project has achieved its expected outcomes; review and evaluate overall performance of the project in terms of its objectives, strategies, processes and achievement of the key result areas; and to identify good practices and the learnings from project implementation and provide recommendations for future programming.

The study adopted a mixed methods approach. The methodology followed the five internationally used assessment criteria viz., Relevance, Efficiency, Effectiveness, Outcome and Sustainability. The study found that all brick kilns had been covered through the project and all Bridge Course Centres were functioning. The centers were the most visible component of the project.
