Shri Sudarshan Jain
Shri Sudarshan Jain
Chairperson
Mr. Sudarshan Jain is the Chairperson of IIHMR University, Jaipur. He has a strong passion for healthcare and education sectors. He is the Secretary-General of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA), Senior Advisor - Apax Partners and board member of multiple organizations. He is also the Chair of International Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association (IGBMA) for 2021. He has served in several leadership positions for over 40 years in healthcare industry (Lupin, Johnson & Johnson, Piramal, Abbott) and was formerly the Managing Director at Abbott Healthcare Solutions. Mr. Jain has over 40 years track record in building businesses, brands and teams across pharmaceuticals, Over the Counter (OTC) products, hospital care, diagnostics and nutrition space. He facilitated building of over 30 brands which are among the top 300 in the Indian pharma industry.
He serves as board member of reputed organizations including Abbott India, Healthium Limited (Apax portfolio company), Indian Education Society (IES), NMIMS University, Mumbai. He has contributed significantly to shaping the healthcare policy and improving access to healthcare in India.
